E-Type 50th Anniversary News Jaguar Heritage is about to announce the full programme of events for next year’s 50 anniversary E-type celebrations. What we can tell you is that it will involve a commemorative 50-car run to Geneva at the end of February, starting from Coventry, going via Rheims, and ending with a cavalcade at the Geneva motor show. There will also be a special race series open to pre-’66 appendix K cars, to be held at the Nürburgring, Oulton Park, Brands, Silverstone and, hopefully, Goodwood. A major celebratory weekend event is also planned somewhere in the UK, although the venue has not yet been finalised. All the events are being organised with the full support of Jaguar Cars Ltd and the final details will be advertised in the next few weeks, so watch this space!
